Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is guidelines for how we as a company conduct our business in an ethical, social and environmentally correct way. We also require our subcontractors to adhere to these terms and reserve the right to review compliance.
Exeri AB's Code of Conduct is based on the 10 principles developed within the framework of the UN's Global Compact. The Code of Conduct deals with human rights, labor law issues, the environment and anti-corruption. These areas include the essential parts of the assumption of responsibility that is natural for all of the group's companies. The basic principles of the Code of Conduct are:
Human Rights
1. Exeri AB supports and respects the protection of international human rights.
2. Exeri AB is not involved in human rights violations.
Labour law
3. Exeri AB maintains freedom of association in accordance with local legislation and all employees are free to start or participate in trade union activities. eXeri AB recognizes the right to collective bargaining regarding employment conditions.
4. All forms of forced labor are prohibited and employees have the right to terminate their employment according to local legislation or employment contracts.
5. Exeri AB distances itself from all types of child labour. No person under the age of 15 shall be employed, and in the case of particularly demanding tasks, the person must be at least 18 years of age.
6. All discrimination, regardless of ethnicity, skin color, gender, religion, political opinion, national origin, social origin, age, disability, HIV/AIDS status, union membership, and sexual orientation, must be avoided in employment or professional practice. Physical or psychological harassment is strictly prohibited.
Environment
7. Exeri AB supports the precautionary principle regarding environmental risks: "Where there is a threat of serious or irreversible damage, lack of complete scientific certainty must not be used as a reason to postpone cost-effective measures to prevent environmental destruction".
8. Innovative solutions that mean reduced environmental impact are encouraged and eXeri AB takes active initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.
9. Exeri AB encourages the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly technology. Sustainable development is a key word in operations and the product life cycle. eXeri AB works with environmental issues from a preventive perspective. In the long term, we strive for an environmental management system that is in line with ISO 14000
Anti corruption
10. Exeri AB does not accept corruption in any form, including extortion and bribery.
