Exeri’s AI boxes reduce power outage time by half

Exeri Smart Grid Surveillance is covered in article in Dagens Industri, the Nordics´ largest business magazine and Sweden's largest financial site:

“Exeri expects the interruption time to be halved with the system as the staff can be used in a more efficient way.

Today, Exeri has 11 installations in Sweden with customers such as EOn, Öresundskraft, Gotlands Energi and Skellefteå Kraft. The latest is also a partner in the company. There is also a build-up abroad, which is still secret. With the new injection of SEK 50 million, the company plans to invest even more in new markets. Sweden has one of the world's best electricity grid, says Magnus Karlsson, but even for Swedish electricity grid operators, Exeris' service is a good deal.

- In other countries we see an even greater potential. We are looking at Europe, and of course also North America and Australia, where we have already received inquiries without marketing. In Australia, for example, they have major problems with forest fires, and many of them are caused by the electricity grid. This means that we will contribute a lot to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. There you really have no troubleshooting opportunities during the dry periods. When there is a power outage, you simply have to walk along the lines to find the problem, Magnus Karlsson explains.

- We are becoming increasingly dependent on electricity, says Magnus Karlsson, and thus Exeris' system becomes even more important."

Magnus Karlsson has experienced power outages countless times. Finally, he did something about it.
